• 21st Birthday - 2007

• Although Dean wishes it was his, it was actually 21 years ago that Dean set up Dean McDonald Photography. Starting off working from home, he went on to buy a shop in the same town.  Even 21 years on, Dean is still producing creative and unique works. Dean is often at the forefront of changes in photography and his enjoyment in creating portraits for his clients has never diminished.

• The Virtual Background System

• Dean McDonald has maintained his creative edge through the use of the Scene Machine, a virtual background system that enables a quick change of setting during a shoot.  The American system is virtually unknown in the UK, but Dean's successful use has resulted in him lecturing several times in the USA and Spain on how he utilises the system to its advantages.
